All About Christine Hannigan

Hello, I’m Christine, I’m a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am passionate about working with clients, providing a warm, friendly, safe and non-judgemental space to help them explore their feelings. The Person-Centred approach puts the client at the centre, focusing fully on their experience from their point of view and is nondirective, following the client’s lead in the environment where they can feel truly seen, heard and understood.

I understand how life can be challenging at times, with highs and lows and it can be overwhelming and painful. It can sometimes feel lonely with no one to talk to. You are not alone; I will listen to you and together we will explore your issues, working towards finding understanding, strength, empowerment and personal growth. I will be in your corner, rooting for you.

I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have worked with a range of issues including anxiety and depression, bereavement and relationship challenges. Please contact me with any questions you may have or a chat about what brings you to counselling.
